Eliot Camp

Eliot Conferences
Many families return year after year to Eliot camps because both adults and children love the program and the friends they make.

After morning worship, the conference programs begin around 9:30 a.m. Children are sung out of the Meeting Hall to their programs and adults remain to listen the theme speaker. At about 10:45, adults break into small discussion groups.

Eliot conferences include a morning program of supervised activities for children from infants through high school.

Small Group Conferences

The children's and MAGs' (middle schoolers) morning programs follow themes consistent with the UU Principles and Purposes. At noon, they join their parents for lunch. Each grouping of children has a teacher and a number of helpers, depending on the number of children in the group.

The Youth have their own Youth Director, plus additional staff members, who are responsible for their program. The Youth also have a dedicated meeting space which is available to them throughout the day.

==> What a loving UU community! Really liked seeing so many youth being a real part of the whole community and almost everyone mostly "unplugged"!
